Streetwear Clothing Products for Private Label Brands
Use this streetwear category to choose development references for your next private-label collection. StitchQuote is a China cut-and-sew partner producing made-to-order garments, not a marketplace for ready-stock purchasing. Compare silhouettes, proportions, fabric direction, and finishing details before preparing a brief. Product pages provide starting references; your approved specifications should define the finished garment.Consider the heavyweight hoodie for a structured silhouette, the terry hoodie when exploring loopback fabric, and the graphic distressed acid-wash reference for discussions about artwork placement and surface treatment. Use jogger pants to develop coordinating bottoms, noting rise, leg shape, cuff construction, and pocket placement. Include measurements and reference images rather than relying on a product name alone.Open a product SKU page when a particular garment is close to your intended design. Open a manufacturer page when you need to frame a broader production brief: French terry hoodie manufacturing, boxy hoodie manufacturing, fleece hoodie manufacturing, or heavyweight T-shirt manufacturing. For a collection spanning several garment types, start with men’s streetwear manufacturing and identify the styles you want developed. For sampling, specify fabric weight, fit, size measurements, artwork files, labels, and packaging requirements. Describe wash intensity and distressing locations, and identify zipper types, drawcord tips, snaps, or other hardware for review. Sampling often takes approximately seven days after a clear tech pack; confirm timing for your design. Typical streetwear MOQ is approximately 50 pieces, subject to confirmation per style. Agree on sample approval criteria before proceeding to production.
Streetwear manufacturing: control proportions, surface effects and repeatability
A strong development brief links the intended silhouette to measurable checkpoints. Treat fabric weight as one input: knit density, yarn, finishing and rib recovery also affect whether a garment hangs loosely or holds a boxy shape. Use the following starting points, with final specifications confirmed per project.
ProductIndicative fabric directionFit and construction checkpoints
Oversized tee220–300 GSM cotton jerseySpecify half-chest, shoulder width, body length from high shoulder point, sleeve length and neck opening. Check shoulder drop on-body.
Boxy hoodie350–500 GSM brushed fleece or loopback terryBalance chest width against body length; define hood depth, sleeve volume, rib height and hem circumference.
Cargo trousers240–340 GSM cotton twill or ripstopDefine front/back rise, thigh, knee, leg opening and inseam. Locate cargo pockets relative to the waistband and side seam.
Acid-wash tee or hoodieWash-compatible jersey or fleece; approve the finished handfeelMeasure after washing. Mark acceptable shade variation, seam abrasion and distressing boundaries.
For coordinated proportions across tops and bottoms, explore men’s streetwear development. Use the boxy hoodie manufacturing guide when refining cropped lengths, wide bodies and hood balance.
Sample decoration on the intended fabric
Screen print: Supply artwork at final size, colour references and placement distances from fixed seams. Approve opacity, handfeel and curing through a wash check.
Puff print: Identify raised areas and minimum detail expectations. Review expansion, edge definition and cracking after stretch and washing; fine lettering may need simplification.
Embroidery: Confirm stitch coverage, thread colours and backing. Sample dense areas to check puckering, stiffness and comfort against skin.
DTG/DTF: Test the actual fabric colour and finish. For DTG, review pretreatment marks and colour reproduction; for DTF, assess film feel, edge adhesion and stretch response.
Garment dye/acid wash: Approve the treatment sequence with decoration, labels and trims. Set an acceptable shade range using physical samples; one photograph cannot define every washed effect.
Identify cost drivers before approving the sample
Fabric consumption rises with wider bodies, larger hoods and extra panels. Custom fabric, multiple print colours or locations, dense embroidery, cargo pocket construction and specialised hardware add material or processing costs. Washing can add handling and increase shade variation. Ask for options against the same approved specification so comparisons remain meaningful.
QC checklist for the approved specification
Record measurement methods and agreed tolerances for each point; check garment dimensions after the specified wash test.
Compare bulk fabric weight, handfeel and shade with approved references; assess shrinkage and twisting.
Check seam security, pocket reinforcement, rib recovery and zipper or snap operation.
Verify artwork dimensions, placement, print adhesion and embroidery backing; inspect washed areas for unintended holes.
Confirm size labels, branding and packing quantities before packing.
Can heavier fleece alone create a boxy fit?
No. Pattern proportions, fabric structure and hem tension work together. Approve the silhouette on-body before grading sizes.
Should washing happen before decoration?
The sequence depends on the intended effect and material compatibility. Sample the proposed sequence, then assess colour, adhesion and dimensions.
What should I send for a comparable quote?
Submit quantities by style, size breakdowns, measurement charts, fabric targets, artwork and treatment requirements through the quote request form.
